Quarter-Turn Dirak

Quarter-turns can be used as latch mechanisms for many applications. In general, they consist of a housing, an insert, a nut, a locking cam and a screw for mounting on individual parts. 

We offer quarter-turns in various versions , e.g. compression latches with a high degree of vibration resistance, quarter-turns with key-lock cylinders, quarter-turns for padlocks, and made of various materials, such as polyamide, stainless steel or zinc-die. 
 
Individual components can also supplement the standard quarter-turn design. This enables us to offer our customers special seals, grounding clips and other elements for special requirements. 
 
For our quarter-turns, we also have a wide variety of alternative components, such as: 

• Over 30 standard inserts for quarter-turns
• Customer-specific inserts
• Mounted with screws, welded or tool-less
• Zinc-die, polyamide or stainless steel versions. 

 If the latch needs to provide effective protection against unauthorized access, then depending on purpose of the application, our swinghandles can offer a more suitable solution. Or the combination of a quarter-turn and rod latch could also be used for such cases.
